AEPI Temple University

Greek Housing Alliance in June of 2008 purchased another premier Chapter House property on the Temple University Campus; the historic Stafford Mansion.  We found this property through discussions with a Fraternity Executive and negotiated a purchase agreement with the Pi Lambda Phi Alumni Association, which owned the property.  Due to our expeditious action taken in purchasing this property we were able to maintain this property’s Greek status as the University had also placed a competitive bid on the property as well.  As part of the ongoing negations to bring this project to fruition, Greek Housing Alliance executed a long-term triple net lease with the National Organization of the local chapter tenant.

Over the past 4.5 years Greek Housing Alliance has maintained the property providing weekly cleaning of common areas of the house and has invested significant capital to rehabilitate this 115 year old mansion, resulting in recognition from the Philadelphia Historical Commission and the Historical Preservation Trust.   This fraternity house is truly a wonderful location on the Temple University campus.
